Q: Pain during BM and previous C-Section connection? Sorry for the TMI...
First, sorry for the TMI. I'm 14 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first was 6 years ago via c-section. I know alot of women suffer from constipation during pregnancy, but I have a prenatal vitamin with stool softener in it, and they have really helped me to not be constipated. Over the last couple of days, when I have a BM, I feel a sharp pulling, tearing sensation in my pelvis, to the side of my uterus. I'm not constipated and only have the pain during the bathroom trip. Is it possible I have adhesions or something from my previous c-section that have made my bowel/intestine connect to my uterus? is that even possible? The pain immediately stops after the BM, is this something anyone else has experienced and do you know what it is?This question was asked Mar. 18, 2014 3:26pm
