I also agree that iron is very important, hope no one misunderstood my comment. I just stopped taking my iron supplement EVERY day because it's quite a high dose (even for a pregnant woman), and I already intake a lot of iron in my diet. Probably should add that I studied (and still do when I can) nutrition for quite a while and pay very close attention to what I'm eating. Sometimes I forget that not everyone is quite as obsessive about it as I am lol!

Magnesium will keep things flowing and its safe for mom & baby. I wouldnt stop taking the prenatal, or dropping the iron aspect of it...u need iron!

You can also have your of change your prenatal vitamin to something that is easier on your tummy. When I went the first Trimester they ensured me that I could change if I felt the need and gave me what options they recommend. Prior to pregnancy I was taking one a day women prenatal vitamins and they come with a stool softer.

It's the high iron! I was on a supplement doing the same thing. If you buy the gummy prenatals they do not have iron in them =) Hope that helps ya. I have a separate iron supplement that I cannot take daily because then I will not have a bowel movement for a week!
