Q: Losing too much weight, too fast unintentionally, bad for baby?

This is my second pregnancy, and like my first, I've lost weight rather than gained it, so I kind of know that's my normal. I tend to lose about a pound per week. I don't eat as much, and get sick a lot. My dr. has never mentioned anything about the weight, just that baby and I are doing well. However...
In the past 2 days I've lost 4 pounds. Is that too much too fast? I've been exhausted, crabby, sick, and not hungry for those 2 days, and now I know what some of those things are from - NO nutrition! Is this something you ladies think I should be calling my Dr about or have any of you been through this and it was no big deal? I'm just a few days past 15 weeks. It's not like I'm too thin, I could stand to lose some weight, but I just worry that this isn't good for baby.
Thanks!

As long as you're not starving yourself you and your baby are perfectly fine.
The same thing happened to me until about 20 weeks, and now i'm staying the same weight finally.
I was worried, just like you are, and i complained about it to my mom who said that as long as you're still eating daily and taking your vitamins, you and the baby are fine. The baby takes what it needs FIRST out of everything you eat, we get the left overs. So don't worry about your baby going without. If you're still really worried, i would go get some ensure or something for a little nutritional boost- i know it helped me, and helped me feel a little less groggy too!! Hope this helps!
