Q: How big was your newborn and what week did you first feel movement

Im more of running a poll with this question. I want to see if bigger babies were felt earlier than smaller babies. So what week did you first feel movement and how big did your baby end up being at birth? I believe I felt my daughter at 15-16 weeks and she was 9lbs 3oz.

With my son I felt him at about 12 weeks as well, then seeing him move shortly after that. With this one the placenta is in front and I can't feel a damn thing even at 17 weeks :( My son was born at 41 weeks. He was 7lbs 14 oz and 20 1/2 inches.

I felt my son move at 16 weeks. When he was born, he weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Not sure what that weight has to do with feeling movement. It might have to do with size of the mom? Just my theory!

I started feeling movement with my daughter at about 19 weeks. She was born at 36 weeks weighing 7lb. 4oz. I felt movement with my son around 14 weeks. He too was born at 36 weeks weighing 8lb. 2oz. I started feeling this one move around 12 weeks (nothing major-little flutters).

My DD was 9 lbs 7 oz at birth and I didn't feel her until after 20 weeks (I did have an anterior placenta so that did affect how much I could feel her). I swear I can feel this one already and I'm 13 weeks 5 days.

I first felt my little girl at 15 weeks, I'm 16 weeks now and the movements are more consistant. I obviously haven't had her yet, but her Dad and I were both 8lb babies. Also, my Dr says that feeling them early can also depend upon where the placenta attached to the uterus...if it attached to the backside of the uterus, you are more likely to feel them earlier and if the placenta attached to the front side you usually feel them later because they are hitting a bulky part of the placenta.
