Q: Dark Brown Spotting and + Test

Just tested today (cd 27) after very light, dark brown spotting past 2 days and got pregnant: 1-2 weeks. Afraid to be excited due to the spotting and it's just so early AF wasn't due until next Friday! Just looking for anyone else who had this?

I had spotting until 13 weeks with my son. It is very common, but if you are concerned, you should call your doctor. Also, if you're RH negative you will need a rhogam shot when you have a lot of spotting.

Hello. Brown blood is old blood. I bled brown from week 5-9 with this pregnancy. Call your OB/GYN and let them know of the + test and notate that you're spotting. Spotting when your period is due, especially within the first 4-6 weeks of pregnancy is pretty normal. GL!!
