Q: is this normal?

Still have a few days for my dr appt. Had an ultrasound today. All my other ultrasounds (2 of them) baby measured the exact size I thought/ last ultrasound calculated for dates. This time he measured a full week ahead :s I am only 18 weeks 4 days but he measured 19 weeks 3 days. At 11 weeks 6 days he measured exactly 11 weeks 6 days. Is this leap in size normal?

Yes. As you progress through the pregnancy, genetics take over & your baby develops at his/her own individual rate. That's why a full term baby can range from 6 lbs to 10+ lbs. They also go through growth spurts. It is possible that he just went through one prior to the u/s. I had an ultrasound at 32 weeks with my first & she was the size of an avg 36 wk fetus. Everything was perfect, she was just a big girl! Sounds like your little one is growing just fine!
