Q: babies heartbeat only up 1 bpm in a week...is that normal ????

I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks 5days and my babies heart rate was 135, had my second ultrasound at 7 weeks 6 days and the heart rate was only 136 only 1 bpm more . the dr said the baby measures normal and the hb is strong . but I heard the heart rate is supposed to go up 3 bpm every day ... should I be concerned ???

in both my previous pregnancies at EVERY check it was 129. Two boys...Dont fret.

dont be worried at all. Whn my daughter was 6 wks in the womb her beat was 137 shestayed like that till 12 wks. When their heart starts growing a little more itll get faster even more so when they start moving. So every is riight on track and until dr is worried your in the clear

If the Dr isn't worried you shouldn't! Be happy that it's there :-) congrats!
