Q: Lower ab pains @ 7 +3 weeks

Hi Ladies!

I'm just a lil worried and need some advice. Having experienced a loss recently...I'm very cautious and alert to anything...

Today, since this morning, I've been experiencing sharp pains by my lower ab. Almost felt like AF cramps. That kind of pain hit me once...and then throughout the day it's just been the normal pain I've been feeling on my lower ab. And now I have gone from constipated to having a lil bit of diarrhea...

Should I be worried? What could this be?

Cramping is pretty normal. As long as they are not getting progressively worse and your "laboring" through them as well as not spotting sounds pretty normal however always go with your gut instinct when it comes to this stuff. It is ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry in pregnancy. Only be worried if your pain is on one side and becomes worse progressively along with diarrhea and possible spotting. These are signs of ectopic however... ectopic pregnancies I hear are EXTREMELY painful and pretty obvious at this stage in your pregnancy and the pain will not just go away or lessen and only gets worse. Thinking of you. I am sure however its the normal uterus "growing pains" and sometimes women's hormones will either speed up or slow down digestion which could be the reason for the diarrhea. :)

Cramping is normal in the beginning stages of pregnancy. I get AF cramps as well but that is it... as long as there is no spotting you should be fine! Your hormones are increasing as the days go on so going from constipation to diarrhea is going to happen and it will happen more. I have had the same and I am 6w2d. Feel Good!
