Well first of all I've realized from being on this website that different countries do things different ways, and then on top of that, different doctors do things different ways. For this baby, here in Wisconsin, I had my first appt. at 6 wks where I saw only my doctor's nurse, where they confirmed pregnancy, took my family history and drew my pregnancy quants(hcg levels). I saw the actual doctor at 10wks, and he did a vaginal exam, a portable ultrasound to "make sure there was only one," and sent me for a bunch more lab work. It's prob too early to hear your baby's heartbeat too, so next time:)

It's different with every doctor. My first OB retired, so I have a new one for this pregnancy. My first saw me at 6 weeks to go over family and medical history, at 7 weeks had a blood confirmation, at 8 weeks I had an ultrasound and at 10 weeks I had other blood screening work done. I was about 12 weeks for my pap. This doctor so far has seen me at 9 weeks to go over history and I go in for a pap at 13 weeks. She hasn't even confirmed pregnancy yet. I also won't get an ultrasound until I am 18-20 weeks. Many women however, do at least get a 12 week scan. Congratulations!

For me in WI I just went to my normal doc and peed in a cup to confirm pregnancy. Then scheduled an appointment with my OB for around 10 weeks. At that one he did a quick scan to confirm dates and I had blood drawn and answered a bunch of medical history questions. Congratulations:)
