Q: Feeling really scared with this pregnancy... Has anyone else felt this way??

I had a miscarriage in June... The baby stop growing at 8 weeks... I got pregnant again right after I stopped bleeding from my d&c... I am currently 7 weeks and 6 days... I went in on August 1st to have an ultrasound done to see how far along I was and at that time I was 6 weeks and there was a heartbeat but how do I stop feeling scared that when I go to my 10 week appointment that there will be a heartbeat? I mean I feel pregnant I have morning sickness like crazy and I am trying to stay positive that everything is going to be ok but how do I stop feeling scared that something is going to go wrong?

I am in the same boat as you! I had a miscarriage in June and just found out Sunday that I am pregnant. I have been consumed with worry and anxiety, my HCG levels were 130 and i should be about 4-5 weeks. My MC was a blighted ovum and I have read that it is very rare for women to have 2 miscarriages in a row, like less than 5% of women misscary twice. So try not to worry, but I understand how you feel! Good luck!

Its completely normal. Ive had a chemical pregnancy, then one of my babies stopped growing at 8 weeks 6 days another at 7 weeks 6 days. With both of those pregnancies it was after confirmed heartbeats. I am now 25 weeks pregnant and I didnt even tell anyone until I was 5 months. Honestly the doctors think I just had terrible luck, I really wish I wouldve enjoyed the moments of being pregnant rather then being so worried this time. It honestly just carries with you when you have had previous losses. The only advice I would give is to just enjoy every moment regardless and think positive. Best of luck to you for a healthy and happy 9 months.

Hey honey, congratulations and good luck on this pregnancy. I don't think you ever stop worrying to be honest. I have had 2 miscarriages one in 2009 and than fell pregnant in 2011 have a healthy 2 year old now and fell pregnant in may 2014 we lost that baby and got pregnant again at the end of may - I am now 12 weeks on Sunday. I still worry about everything going wrong it is just natural. I fell down the stairs, a roof top fell on me, I got punched in the stomach with my daughter and everything was perfect. The baby is well protected. I now have my 2 year old jumping on me, kicks me when she in a mood - she learning now mummy has a baby in her belly she has asked "why did you eat the baby?" haha. Good luck ~ healthy 9 months your way honey!

Just wanted to wish you luck, I lost a baby at 10 weeks in September last year and fell pregnant again in December, I have worried throughout this pregnancy but luckily everything has gone smoothly and I am 35 weeks along. Did your dr tell you what went wrong? I never got a reason but my midwife did her best to reassure me it was a problem with the fetus and not something with me so there was no reason that it should go wrong again. Hope things go well for you this time.
