Q: Lemon and mint water

Hi Ladies! Some advice...I haven't been able to drink plain water to save my life since i fell pregnant. It just tastes horrible...

So I went on Google and found that lemon water can be drank in pregnancy. But I wanted to know if any ladies have tried this? Or if they have tried other ways of drinking their water?

I've recently added mint to the water I drink and it just tastes divine.

I'm also wondering if the water is ok for baby too...

I want to continue the topic. The answers should be short, but I have many thoughts.
It is good for colds. So eat and drink lemon water. I also really love mint tea for the night. He is very reassuring. I always sleep well after it.
He also relieves nausea. Leaves mint a pleasant feeling in the mouth. This is better than chewing gum. My friend had dizziness from mint water. And I had swelling on my legs.
But my doctor said that mint can be harmful. In a large dose, mint can not be taken. It can cause a miscarriage. Mint also reduces the production of breast milk and lowers blood pressure. Pregnant women may have an allergy to mint. Dear girls, always try a little. The organism is different for everyone.

Hey. A very good idea. I support your opinion. I loved a lemon during pregnancy. He well removes the nausea.
In later terms, I had heartburn. I switched to lemon water. Here I got two benefits. I began to tolerate more easily morning sickness . Also I drank water in the norm.
Another doctor said that this is a mild laxative. I give you advice. You can not eat a lot of lemon. It can cause an allergy in the baby. In lemon is a lot of vitamin C.

I love flavored waters. I don't have trouble drinking plain water, but i found this water bottle on amazon with an infuser in the middle that holds the fruit...it's terrific. I've tried cucumber water, berries (especially blackberries and strawberries), lemon and orange. The cucumber sounds kind of weird, but it's kind of refreshing.

Flavored water is all fine for baby, I know in the UK the only water they say to avoid is tonic water as the quinine is thought to be very bad for baby if you drink enough, and of course high sugary drinks in large quantities.
I could not drink water at all until after 13 weeks as it set of my morning sickness something awful, still does but only if I drink it on an empty stomach in the morning so I watered down sugar free and caffeine free fizzy drinks or fruit juices, I like putting lots and lots of lemon in my water in the evenings as it doesn't taste so bland. Anything that disguised the water from my sensitive stomach worked really well, heck knows why it worked.
Another fun treat for water I found I liked was grenadine cordial.
Any other squash just didn't sit right in my stomach.
