Q: measuring ahead

I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and at my last follow up my uterus measured ahead 3 weeks, do you think my baby risks being bigger than my last one? my last one had also measured ahead by 2 weeks and popped out a whopping 9 lbs 7 oz 22 inches long and he is still ahead he falls in the 90 percentile for everything. just wondering if I should prep myself for a 10 pounder :P

this is my forth child and second boy so I assume thts the case. I do make big children and they seem to progressively get bigger in each subsequent pregnancy as my first was 7lbs 10oz second was 8lbs 14oz and third was 9lbs 7oz. first two measured 21 1/2 inches and 21 3/4 inches and then my third measuring 22 inches.

It is very common for the second child to be bigger. Even more so if it's another boy.

My little guy has measured consistently 2 weeks ahead but at my last scan at 28 weeks he has finally started to slow and was only a week ahead, I think it can change a fair bit, I didn't worry too much until your close but it sounds like you make big babies, good luck :)

Growth changes so much in u/s I would wait until around 32 weeks to think about that well that's if your having another u/s, nothing different you can really do anyway, pain relief or not pain relief is the question. I had a big baby also my first. GL
