Q: I am not getting my periods from last 2 months. 8 urine test is negative.

I have done ultrasound. my first dr told us that is cyst in ovary. So I consult another dr. He told us that is 5 week pregnancy. I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy. and I am not physical without protection with my husband. So I am sure about that I am not pregnant. I am so confused.

That's a question you need to ask your Dr I'm afraid hun. There are lots of non scary things that can crop up and stop periods but if you have questions they are the best people to help put your mind at rest. x

That's really unfortunate that you're getting such mixed messages from the drs. I would think that if you were pregnant you'd be at least 12 weeks along if periods are 4 weeks apart and you've missed 2. Usually by then you can see some sort of evidence of a baby in there.
There are lots of reasons we sometimes don't have periods. Working out a lot, being overweight, being underweight, being under lots of stress, basically anything that causes stress to your body will cause you to not ovulate and sometimes not menstruate. I would say wait a while and test again, but if you have any sort of side pain go in again. Good luck!

Definitely confusing when you get two different answers from two different doctors! For my first I went in to the doctor and was negative after missing two periods. They did an ultrasound and said that I had an ovarian cyst and that if I didn't have a period in 2 weeks to come back in. When I went back in the tests were positive and there was a heartbeat on the ultrasound.

Was there a heartbeat or a gestational sac that they could see on your ultrasound? I would ask them to do a quantitative blood test (beta hcg) that will provide you with an actual hcg level. Have them follow up with a second test two days later to see if the level is rising, which would indicate a pregnancy. Unfortunately no protection is 100 percent certain. GL!
