Q: Anyone have luck with Progesterone Suppositories?

So, I found out that I was pregnant when I was 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Doctor ran tests and found that my progesterone was 7. He immediately put me on progesterone suppositories twice a day due to my miscarriage history. I have never carried a baby past month 1. Since then, my progesterone levels have gone up significantly. I'm now at 20 and 5 weeks. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this and had a successful 9 months. Thanks

My Dr just put me on progesterone capsules twice a day because at 12 dpo my progesterone was 7.2. I hope this help me! I delivered my stillborn baby girl in July and don't want to go through another loss.

I was on progesterone 2 days after my IUI due to low progesterone my previous cycle. I continued using progesterone up until 12 weeks and all is well. As long as your progesterone levels stay above 10, don't be too worried. My levels were at 32 at 4w4days and slowly started dropping but the doctor was not concerned at all and just made sure it stayed above 10. After 12weeks pregnancy, the placenta starts taking over making progesterone so you most likely won't be on progesterone longer than 13 to 14 weeks. Good Luck!

I am not nine months now, I am at 28 weeks 3 days so almost there. I was on prometrium from the time I got a positive test until I was 13 weeks pregnant. Everything has went well so far the baby is happy and healthy. It looks like I will finally have my take home baby after 3 losses. I definitley think the progesterone helped me, I also take a baby aspirin and an extra 400mg of folic acid daily! Best of luck for a healthy and happy 9 months!
