I had a boy and a girl and carried almost identically. We didn't find out the sex with my daughter and I was convinced that she was a boy, because the pregnancies were so similar. I think it is more about how your body reacts to being pregnant, rather that if the baby is boy or girl.

Ok. I think I have a good "guess" by looking at my 12 ultrasound. Looking at the skull, and guessing right on all the other ultrasounds on this sight (looking at 20w ultrasound pics) guessing and looked at the notes under them and my guess right every time. So I looked at mine again and I say Girl. What I have noticed with girl skulls is that they remain semi-flat on top and come down and round off then curve in towards the base of the skull. With boys, they have a more Rounded top scooping in at the base of the skull. I remember my son's ultrasound and I remember saying how perfectly round it was. Either way, all i am praying for is a Healthy Happy Baby. This is truly a blessing to be able to have another one.

Thank you ladies with letting me know how you carried with each!

Dakotagurrl and knicole27 - I won't be finding out until 20 weeks. I was pissed when I found out that a friend of my friend is due the same day as me and she already found out the gender by a blood test taking at 12 weeks along with her NT blood testing. I was never given an option to find out then. I have never been so impatient but this time around I am. HaHa! I was hoping the heartrate would tell me something like it did for my mom 32 years ago with me. The doc told my mom after her 2 boys that I was a girl by the heartrate and sure enough I have a who-ha not a ding dong!

For me, I show early for my girls. As for boy, I show only when I reach 6 months. Other than that, when I carry my girls, I used to wake up in the middle of the night for snacks but not for my boy. Oh and BB Boy are more active for me than girls. :)

Not to mention, I have more dreams when I am preg with my boy too...

I never knew my sons heartrate, was never told and never asked. The first one done was with a doppler at 10wks. Back then we got a whopping 1 ultrasound, at 16 weeks, for anomaly and gender, so I didnt get info then either (again, didnt ask). When r u finding out gender? I hate not knowing, and now they make us wait til 20wks to find out...lame!!
