Q: Due dates could they be wrong?

So I know exactly when my lmp was and if we go by that I wiuld be due November 27th 2014. But they are going vy one of the earlier ultrasound edd and that puts it to December 7th 2014...how ever aside from that one ultrasound he has been measuring exactly to my original due date though at the growth scan he measures a full month ahead...is it possible they are wrong? My instincts tell me to stick with original date what do you all think?

I'm sorry, what an idiot! I had just looked at someone else's profile and had your "how many weeks along" confused. Wish we could delete our own answers to questions, lol... in light of that information, I'm even more baffled! Id say your lmp dd is prob your best bet, being kinda in the middle of those measurements...hopefully they take that into consideration if (s)he comes "early" so they don't think (s)he's premature. Talk to your doctor so they know this and don't treat you and your baby differently...congrats, I can't wait til I'm closer to the end like you!

I don't get why they're going by the edd that puts you a week and a half later than your lmp dd while they have another scan that puts him a month a head of that! Maybe you had a tech that isn't so sure what they're doing...that's a big window in both directions! If you don't know exactly when you ovulated, that's a tough one. I see you're only 11 weeks, so for them to put him almost two weeks behind but then 4 weeks ahead...there is some definite error there, and you need a second opinion. Whether it's shoddy equipment or an idiot tech, something is wrong! I'd get a second opinion. There's plenty of time for you to figure out your true dd.
