Q: Air embolism TMI warning

I am 18 weeks pregnant today with baby #2. This morning my DH and I were "getting busy" in the doggie position and some air got into my vagina during the process. I know a guy blowing air in is dangerous and now I'm worried. I have no spotting and no pain though. I'm going to call my Dr. Later, when they open but I am T work and won't be able to speak with her right away :-(. I just don't want to panic here... It took us 3 years to concieve.

I called my Dr. and she said I'd be fine :) I'm 19 weeks 1 day today and have had no issues!

Thanks! Found out they close today at 2:00 :-( but I put a call in to the triage center. Waiting on a nurse to call me back.

I am not a doc - but typically doc's are sooooo careful that anything that could possibly cause problems with your pregnancy is put on the "forbidden" list. If sex in any position was dangerious for your pregnancy, you can bet our docs would warn us against it.

Call your doc for the official opinion, but in the meantime, I wouldn't stress. Congrats on your pregnancy :)
