Q: Implantation bleeding two separate days

I was wondering if anyone experienced implantation bleeding twice. I only had maybe a single drop of blood at 6dpo. nothing else until 12 dpo when I felt a burrowing/ digging feeling and the next day had maybe two drops of blood and nothing else. I started to read that sometimes twins can implant up to a week apart even if the ovulation of both eggs happens around the same time. Anyone had two separate implantation bleeding and turned out to have twin or singletons?

well 6 dpo is VERY early for implantation bleeding since the average is 10 days I believe 8-12 dpo is the normal range, but you can get implantation bleeding on and off for weeks as the baby grows and develops and attaches (burrows) it's way into the lining of the uterus, I had BAD cramping and spotting at 6.5weeks and it was implantation, they could see the small pool of blood via ultrasound where the placenta continuing to developing on the uterine wall. Usually with twins they are fraternal meaning 2 separate eggs so 2 ovulations from mom, usually the woman ovulates and 2-3 days later ovulates again when you add that 8-10dpo for implantation into the uterus the babies can implant at almost the same or almost a week apart. However since an egg is only viable for fertilization for approx. 24 hrs after ovulation they would be 24hr to 4 days apart in days since conception (ie fertilization by sperm) not sure if that helps, but without fertility drugs odds of twins is low for most
