Q: Old Wives Tale..Baking Soda Gender Test..Has it been accurate for any of you?

So for the baking soda gender test, you pour a litte pee of a small amount of baking soda. Fizzle/froth=boy, No reaction=girl.

Both times I did it, it was a girl. My "ring test" is also very strongly a girl result.

Just curious about other people's experiences. I know it's just for fun, but still curious :-)

Supposedly FMU works best and at least 10 weeks along gives best results.

I did it @ 8.5 weeks along, and will repeat every week mark until I find out @ doc, lol :-) Just for fun ;-) Also, yes, I have done the Chinese Gender Predictor and it said girl :-D I know all this is just for fun...but is exciting!

I tried the baking soda test....just for fun. Did it twice. And the results where girl. There was no reaction.
And later on in the pregnancy we found out we are having a baby girl.

Just tried the ring test now and it was swinging in circles which means a girl. I really want a girl and even a chinese gender chart predicts a girl but i kinda feel it is a boy. I will try the baking soda test just for fun and see what it says.

Never heard of this wives tale gender predictor, I'm going to have to try it. Our's will be a surprise though, so I'll have to wait til birth to find out if it was right. Chinese chart predicting boy. Feels like a boy to me. (Of course my son felt like a girl to me, so who the heck knows.)
