Q: PMS already?

I'm 6 weeks postpartum and for a few days now I've been really crampy and moody and bloated. Pretty positive AF is making her visit soon!

I highly doubt it will be any heavier than before. I used to soak through a pad almost every hour during the first couple days of my periods, it looked like a murder scene lol. They were pretty far from normal too. Horrifying pain and my cycles were usually 34-40 days long. I had a freakishly short cycle when we conceived so I really have no idea what things will be like when my period finally returns.. but it honestly can't get any worse than it was so it's just a waiting game now =) Had my 6 week pp checkup today and my midwife said everything has gone back to normal (which I already knew anyway I've been feeling pretty good lol and having sex since about 3.5 weeks pp)

If your not exclusively breast feed your monthly visitor will make an appearance soon, 80% have it back by 10 weeks post . Plus you have to remember it takes time for you body to purge all those pregnancy hormones and shift back to normal. You will find that you body, mind and emotions are on a bit of a roller coaster and it will be a while before you feel at home in your body again, worry and lack of good sleep doesn't help the cause any lol. Do t be surprised if when it comes back its heavier than before and really irregular. A trip to a good chiropractor and a acupuncturist can help regulate thing if it super heavy and all over the place. Pregnancy and birth are hard on the body, especially due to hormones that let our joint shift and stretch to accommodate baby during pregnancy and childbirth. Some thing didn't quite shift back into place and cause problems with menstruation, digestion, headaches etc. Best wishes for you and baby!!!

Possible. After my son PMS started for me about 7 weeks. I didn't breast feed either.
