Q: Baby Name help

Hello Ladies. I am thinking of name Valentina for the baby, but wanted to use it's short form: Vallie. How would you pronounce this name? I am afraid many people will pronounce it like Wallie, instead of Vallie.

I would think Val-ee. My baby girl's middle name is Valentine. Love Valentina, that's cute!! =)
