Q: Random backache question and about Braxton hicks

Ok, so I have had this super low back pain for as long as I can remember during pregnancy - but usually only when I am too active or on my feet for a long time. It is around the tailbone but hurts above my butt. It's not constant just hurts after sitting and trying to stand or while walking around. But today I have attempted to get some things done and it has been painful all day. Is this where women tend to feel lower back pain or am I a unique case here?

Another thing I am wondering about. I don't know if I have felt any Braxton hicks at all even with my first pregnancy. Even in true labor I felt no tightening up that I hear everyone talk about, or even anything in my back during contractions. I have been feeling light menstrual like cramps off an on which is kind of what I felt (only constant) with my true contractions last pregnancy. Could it be Braxton hicks? Is that what they can feel like or do they never hurt?

Hey I totally missed the part where you feel crampy, definitely keep an eye on things. If you lose your plug or have bloody show or they get worse or closer together call somebody. Also lay down and drink a bunch of water, I've had a lot of instances of fakey cramps throughout my pregnancy that were solved by hydration and rest. Feel better soon:)

My lower back pain came back a few weeks ago. But I have also noticed that when I sit straight up, such as driving that I feel uncomfortable tightenings in my back similar but lighter than the back labor I have felt in my previous labors. As far as we are along I think it's probably our Braxton Hicks getting stronger. I haven't had any mucus plug or bloody show and if you haven't I think you're prob in the same boat. But keep an eye on it just in case! GL xoxo
