Q: Has anyone used the gender predicting kit? How accurate are they?

I'm 11 wks 5 days pregnant and i used the gender predictor kit this morning it predicted i am having a girl although its fun to use I'm not really convinced of how accurate it is. My husband can only produce boys he has 1 son from a previous marriage and our son he also has all brother's and all nephews although i would be thrilled to have a girl I'm just not convinced. has anyone used these and it actually predicted the gender correctly? I purchased it convinced it would predict a boy it predicted a girl so now I'm skeptical lol.

I tried Gendermaker gender prediction test and it was right for me. It showed a pink result right away and we already know that we are having a girl.

I did the intelligender test, and it said boy, i also did the baking soda one and it was boy... but i'm having a girl. the only prediction tools that were right for me was the ring and strand of hair and the Chinese calender, both have been right for me 3 pregnancies in a row. really tho, nothing is 100%, not even an ultrasound. lol

Can't say I've used those kits but don't worry, your husband doesn't only produce boys! Scientifically speaking the odds are very close to 50/50 that he gives an X gene to make a girl instead of a Y gene to make a boy. There are things you can do around ovulation to kind of "sway" the odds one way or the other but it's really a crapshoot, whatever happens happens! I chose not to find out the sex of my baby(never have, 4th pregnancy), but dreams have told me in previous pregnancies what I was having. This time, and I'm 35w3d, I've had a few dreams about having my baby but in the dreams it never tells me what I'm having this time!! Obviously dreams aren't a sure-fire method for finding that out, but it would be great if the dreams mentioned SOMETHING!! Anyways, enough about me, your chances of having a girl are just as good as your chances of having a boy. Best of luck with your hopes!

To be honest, it is a 50-50 chance of being right. I know that sucks, but it is the truth no matter what the box says. I didn't buy a gender kit but I did all of the little old wives tales and calendars and my 1st son should have been a girl and this boy should have been a girl... so they were both wrong for me.
