Q: Flu Shot?

I am 9 weeks pregnant and haven't gotten my flu shot this year, should I get one or avoid it since I am pregnant now? Is it safe for the baby? Does anyone recommend I get it or not get it?

Talk to your OB first. 9 times out of 10 they will give it to you in their office.

Its recommended you get one if you are pregnant as having flu can harm the baby.
I was supposed to get one before christmas but got turned away because i was already ill with a cough and you can only get it whilst you are healthy. Now i'm better I am undecided as to whether its necessary now as the winter month and flu season is nearly over?
