Q: Should I be worried?

On Saturday March 14, 2015, I took a Clear blue test with weeks estimator. Every time I had taken it prior to Saturday, it had come back with "2-3 weeks". But Saturday, it finally showed "3+ weeks". I was super excited!!! But... I just took it again today. It showed "2-3 weeks" again. Please tell me if this means what I think it does? I did drink about 2000ml of water today and took the test late afternoon, but I know that your hormones are supposed to double every 48-72 hours meaning the test should not have been that low regardless of how much water I drank right??? Please help me!!! I am soooo scared right now!!!

Thank you both. I was super worried (couldn't help it) but I took another pregnancy test last night , this morning and this afternoon. All 3 are coming back "3+" I am hoping that I just hit a dud with this last one. BUT... now that I have the "3+" confirmation, I am done testing. It is too scary for me. I am just going to put it in God's hands. What will be will be. Either way, mommy and daddy will love this baby for all of our lives.

The weeks estimator tests are not really reliable as far as how many weeks you are! It is only an estimator. If you are not showing any signs of concern, I would not worry. I think it even says on the package that it is not to be used as to show pregnancy progression as it is only an estimator. I think you are just fine! Congrats!! :)

Sorry this isn't what your going to want to hear. I've had the week estimators decrease the following day and they resulted in m/c's even if your've drunk water the HCG numbers don't decrease. This has been my experiences. Could be different for you. Best idea would be to get your doctor to do 2 beta HCG blood draws 48hrs apart to ensure your numbers are increasing. GL
