Just makes me so anxious lol we already have two girls and ive never seen anything that looked like this, but then again never got a gender scan this early either. I just hope my hopes arent up thinking boy just for her to say girl. But in the end as long as baby is nice and healthy thats ALL that really matters.

Sounds like the sonography is indicating to you it may be a boy then. They usually know their job pretty well as the see and scan preg woman all day long. I'd go with what she's telling you. It's never as accurate until that 20w anatomy scan. So it is a waiting game. GL hope you get the gender you want :-)

Whoops typo pointing more upwards indicating a boy. So annoying how you can't edit your answers.

At that 12-13 weeks you are looking at the nub theory. Which is purely what angle the nub is facing weather or not it is more flat indicating a girl or if it is pointing more upwards indicating a girl. Your not usually looking for actual genitals but rather just the nub as its too early. Both mine were determined at the 12w scan with very high tech equipment and a very experienced sonography. They were girls and that was based only on the nub theory which is 60- 70% accurate if it can be clearly seen. It was then confirmed at my 20w anatomy scans. :-)
