The only think that worked for me was a cold cloth on my head and plenty of quiet and rest.

I went had the same thing happen. I'd get blurry vision, nausea and threw up a few times. Once they got to a point where I couldn't get rid of them, I saw my doctor. He put me on Tylenol with Codeine. I found out after trying everything under the sun, that a good trip to the chiropractor solved it. I found a groupon to save money on the first trip to him (we just moved to Alabama when I found out I was pregnant), it was 35$. Everytime after that is 30$. My insurance doesn't help with chiropractic care so I just pay cash. I swear it works. It's definitely worth a try. I had headaches before I was pregnant and going to the chiropractor always helped. I also drink one to two glasses of tart cherry juice, 8oz, because it's a natural pain reliever. Downside, it's pricey. It's so healthy for you and has many benefits. I have backpain and that helps that too. It's totally safe to drink during pregnancy. I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and I feel much better now. Just hang in there!
