Q: Bleeding after having a membrane sweep

I'm currently 38 weeks and I had the membrane sweep today at my doctors appointment and was told I could expect some bleeding afterwards but I'm just wondering what would be considered normal and what wouldn't?

Went to the washroom when I got home and there was quite a bit when I took a pee and then wiped like a mediumish flow..

Advice would be much appreciated :)

if you're still bleeding tomorrow, call your doctor. i never experienced any bleeding after my sweeps but it is very common. look out for your mucus plug too lol, i started losing mine after my first sweep at 38wks.

I experienced the same bleeding the doctor actually had me put a pad on before leaving the office. The bleeding should subside by tomorrow and only be discharge at that point.
