Q: Anterior placenta

Does anyone else have an anterior placenta? Was reading my scan report and noticed it said this although nothing was mentioned to me at the scan so it's obviously not a problem. The only thing I do know is I may not feel my baby move as much which I feel gutted
About! I have felt movement but very low down or to the right hand side. Does anyone else have experience with this and when did you feel your baby move? I'm 20 weeks.

i apparently also have an anterior placenta. i felt flutters just before 16w. around 19w i felt movement very low and to the sides. trick is tho, my baby just likes to lay around and wiggle! she's not a big mover. she didn't move much at my ultrasounds either. around 24w i know i for sure finally felt some solid kicks and punches. im 29w now. she's a little boxer, all punches and elbow jabs. im waiting for her to get her feet going lol but so far, i can only recall once in the last week feeling a foot. (i know because she's head down- confirmed by OB) basically, once u hit 24w+ the anterior placenta isnt gonna stop you frm feeling anything. you'll feel it all.

I also have an AP. At first it was like most of you describe with only feeling kicks on the sides or down low or could tell if she kicked the placenta bc it was like the kicks were muffled. My placenta has actually moved up high and I feel all sorts of movement in all directions. Maybe that will be the case for you as well!

I think I probably scared myself by googling it and reading forums where women said they never felt proper kicks. I felt flutters early on and they have got stronger so hopefully won't be long before the proper kicks start

I have anterior this time around. They should be getting stronger now. Mine were very definite starting around 20 weeks always super low, but increasing after that, and on the sides mostly. Last week 28wks+ they started being more on both sides and in the middle, not just the right side, now that baby is big enough.

I have an anterior placenta but have not noticed much difference, although that could be because I'm on the small side (5', 100 pounds). I found baby's heartbeat with my doppler at 8 weeks, felt flutters at 14 and actual kicks at 18 weeks.

I have a anterior as well , I could feel the baby about 10 weeks but this is also my 4th baby . She is very low and she loves to stay on my right side , idk y she likes it so much there . But now that she is head down I can feel feet under ribs and moved on the left side I'm guessing hands or a foot .

I have one and I felt first flutters every so often at 17 weeks and then pretty consistently at 19 weeks. Felt first kicks down low at 19w2d and then first kicks on the side at about 21 weeks. Everyone is different though. My sister in law had one too and she felt her movements earlier. It depends on your body type, how overweight/underweight etc

I've had anterior placentas both times. First time I felt baby at 23w this time 20w. I've now given birth 2 weeks ago and continually felt loads of movement from 20w until birth.
