Q: 7 wks pregnant... And found visible follicle

I had an ultrasound today I'm 7 weeks+1day baby heart rate was 135.. During ultrasound they found A follicle?!?! They said everything looked fine. But when I got home they contacted me and said I needed to come back in 3 days for repeat ultrasound... Should I be worried? What is a follicle?

A follicle houses an egg (not the one that's fertilized already). I wouldn't worry about it. I have several visible ones from my PCOS that they see even though I'm now almost 20 weeks. Just be sure to ask more questions when you go back in 3 days.
