I've had an empty sac where it was empty meaning the pregnancy wasn't to contine a blighted ovium. You should have a feotal pole and HB at 7 weeks if your sure when you conceived. Maybe give it another week and go for a repeat u/s and go from there. It sucks going through the uncertainty. Best wishes, hope it works out well for you.

Do you know if you have a tilted uterus? It made a difference for me.
With my first, I didn't have an ultrasound until around 10 weeks. With my 2nd, the doc changed his policy and brought me in just before 7 weeks. They just saw a sac. They sent me for a follow-up with more sophisticated equipment and baby was fine. She's 3 now. I later found out that can be typical in women who have a retroverted uterus not to see everything in early ultrasounds because of the angle.
Good luck :)

I had a gestational sac and mine wasn't fine. I had a blighted ovum. Hopefully you are just early and will see something next week. GL!

maybe you conceived a little later than you thought, iv heard many stories of women only seeing a sac and the following week a heartbeat so hang in there and try stay positive :) it can also depend on the quality of the ultrasound machine itself. best of luck xx

If you saw a gestational sac, then you are probably fine. It is probably earlier, or it could be a blighted ovum...
