Q: Extremely painful and excruiciating Ligament

I have never felt pain like it in my life and even though I mentioned it to my midwife a few weeks back all she said is if It insists on being that painful ill have to have physio.
I just laid on the floor on my back for a few minutes, my son and partner was making me laugh.. I could feel the pinches and couldn't get up. I asked my fella to help and when he pulled me up I just screamed and curled into a ball.. The pain is excruciating to the point I feel like the sides of my stomach are on fire and have ripped open (I'm not an exaggerating person) but the pain is ridiculous and in describable it's that painful.. The pain don't go away for atleast 5 mins... im worried about my baby.. has anyone every experience ligament pain like this?.. its happened a few times now and not only am I in agony when It happens for once in this pregnancy I'm truly worried.. its making me cry :(..

A warm bath will help some. Sitting on an exercise ball might also help. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot you can do for this. :(

I am sorry you are going through this. :( Unfortunately, I am not much help. My round ligament pain isn't that severe and rarely it will last for 5 min. The only thing I can think is to try to stay as hydrated as possible.

If it is that severe though I would let your midwife know, I don't think it is normal. :(
