Q: Cloth diaper recommendations?

I'm a FTM and would appreciate any advice on cloth diapers. What kind do you love? What kind do you hate? How many of each size piece did you need? What was your arrangement for storing the dirty ones and how often did you do laundry? What type of detergent? Snaps or velcro?

I appreciate hearing your wisdom. Thanks!

I haven't started yet but I plan on getting about 3 dozen flat fold diapers and 10 or so covers. I planned on getting a bucket of some kind with a lid on it to store the dirty ones and to do laundry every day so the amount of diapers doesn't become over whelming . I was going to use just plain non-scented detergent to wash them with and I am using snappies for the flat fold diapers. prefold cloth diapers would be easier to use but they are more expensive then flat fold so I may get a few prefold in the future but not very many. I am going to get mostly size one diapers because i thinking that the baby would grow out of newborn size really fast but thats kind of up to you and how much money you want to spend.
