Q: is it safe to eat canned oysters?

i am 18 weeks pregnant and i have been craving canned oysters but i dont know if they are safe to eat while pregnant.

I was told by my Doctor, no oysters.

just did soome research and oysters canned or not are safe to eat

i ate them with my first along with crab, lobster, and shrimp. My daughter is perfectly healthy with nothing wrong. So i dnt think its a problem.
