Q: Anyone else find out they are a carrier for cystic fibrosis?

I am 14 weeks with my first and just found out that I am a carrier for cystic fibrosis. My husband will need to be tested to see if he is. If so, this baby has a 1 in 4 chance of having CF. I am trying to stay positive and pray. Any words of encouragement?

I am. I finally took the test after already having 2 children..HEALTHY children at that. We just found out that I'm a carrier..its scary to hear...My husband just to the test..we wont get results back for a while..but We aren't thinking twice about it and just reminding ourselves that God is with us. No worries miss.

Thats only a 25% chance, hang in there...Im sure your husband will not be a carrier ;)
