Q: Should I be concerned about on and off bleeding during pregnancy?

Hi, I'm going on 7 weeks and have been on and off bleeding since 5 weeks. I've been to the hospital six times since. Each time they tell me the pregnancy is normal and going well. Two days ago I went to the hospital and they did my blood work again and did a ultrasound. They seen the babies heartbeat and they said things are looking okay. The bleeding though hasn't stopped fully. For sometimes days and sometimes hours it stops. I had a MC 4 months ago and am scared for the same thing to happen. I have been taking every right step so I thought.

I've bled since 5 weeks also. They said I had 2 subchriotic bleeds. I actually passed one at 18 weeks. (Lots of red and a clot). Baby is still doing amazing though. 20 weeks now. I also have a low lying placenta which could cause bleeding also. I haven't bled since passing that clot though.....

If uve had an u/s and everything is looking ok with the baby, try not to worry too much about bleeding. When do u see ur OB? I'm sure he'll have the reports as to what is causing the bleed/location etc, see what he has to say about it. Try to relax and don't overdo anything (exercise, sex, lifting etc) until ur Dr can review everything. Until then, there's really nothing u can do except keep the stress levels down. Take it one day at a time, baby was fine when u went last time, focus on that!! =))
