Q: Almost 33 weeks..At what point will the doctor start checking for dialtation/cervix thinning??

Okay so I will be 33 weeks on Monday and at my last doctors appointment I forgot to ask this question. I'm going every 2 weeks now but I can't remember when they actually start checking to see. Lately I have been having a lot of sharp pains in my cervix, braxton hicks and increased white cm (tmi sorry! :P). I feel like something is going on and I just want to find out lol if I might be progressing already. So ladies near the end when did your doctor start checking??

My last pregnancy they started checking mine regularly at about week 32. They also saw the need to check mine many visits before that..I don't really know why. Mention it at your next dr appt, but everything you mentioned sounds normal to me. I remember those awful Braxton Hicks contractions. I was scared every time that I was going into labor, but I learned when I went into labor that those contractions are SO much different. Wishing you a safe and easy delivery:)
