Q: Next prenatal appointment at almost 13 weeks and a little scared. (first time they'll listen to HB)

I'm coming up on 12 weeks and will be having my next prenatal appointment towards the end of next week. I'm a little scared as this will be the first time that they will try to listen to the HB with a doppler. I dont really feel pregnant and I'm a little worried that there wont be a HB when I go in. I had an early ultrasound around 8 weeks and everything was ok except the baby measuring a few days behind. the HB then was at about 171. I have had multiple losses and have had bad experiences with trying to find the heartbeat. with my stillbirth I went in and they couldnt find a heartbeat...So I guess I'm just really nervous about this next appointment especially since I've been feeling so much better and havent really been feeling any "growing pains"....

Well as I understand it the 2nd trimester is suppose to be so much better than the 1st so that could be a reason that you are feeling better and not having many pregnancy symptoms! I know it's virtually impossible to forget about your loss and not worry about your pregnancy but you've come really far! I think you will feel so much better after your appointment! Good luck!
