Q: What is the typical hbr for a 5w 4d old fetus?

When I got my fisrt u/s done I was told that I was 5w 4d along. It was a transvaginal u/s and she was able to see the fetus and the heartbeat. She told me the hbr was at 139 bpm. I did some research on this site and according to this the hbr should've been around 80 to 85 bpm. Is it possible that they misjudged how far along I am? According to the u/s due date I should be 10w 4d along today. Although this is my first pregnancy, I feel like I'm in my second trimester. My breasts are not as tender, my morning sickness has gone away, my appetite has increased significantly and food has been tasting amazing , moodiness has calmed down and I'm able to think a bit clearer. Is it really possible that the nurses are 2 weeks off that early in a pregnancy? Anybody else have this happen to them? And is the hbr a reliable way to age a fetus in the first trimester? I believe my lmp was march 26 2016, and about 2 weeks later I bled again, but it was much shorter than the norm. So confused

If you get the nuchal screen done, they should date the pregnancy again. I've never had an ultrasound before 7wks so I don't know about the heart rate. Also, i wouldn't read into the symptoms too much. Some ppl don't lose morning sickness at allm i lose my morning sickness, if you wanna call it that, around 8wks and my dates were correct since I know my bosy.

139 is a good heart rate. It does seem high for 5 weeks 4 days. Did you tell your doctor you think you might be further along?
