Q: Ewcm at 8 weeks?? (TMI)

Hi! Sorry for the gross question. I am so confused. I know you can have increased discharge with pregnancy. Today after a bowel movement I literally had a bunch of ewcm like during ovulation (except more yellowy and thicker). Haven't had any since. This is my fourth pregnancy, two of which ended in miscarriage. So I am nervous. Anyone else have this weird discharge early in pregnancy?

Leukorrhea can look a lot like ewcm as well. Maybe it was that instead of EWCM.

I had it my entire pregnancy with my son. My doctor said it was normal. Had no infection or anything.

I wouldn't worry about it. I have large amounts of discharge during pregnancy. I have to wear a panty liner all the time. Your estrogen/hormones are surging so it can be completely normal. I have never had a vaginal infection of any sort while pregnant.

If the discharge comes along with itching/burning/irritation/strong smell etc I would definitely get it checked out.

I am 11 weeks, 4 days along on my 4th pregnancy. I had a lot of ewcm, but the Dr told me my PH balance was high so she gave me some medication for a week to drop the PH level. Hope all is well!

I just spoke to my OB's nurse and she said it isn't a big deal since it isn't bloody or smelly or a weird color. So I guess they aren't too concerned
