Q: Cervical zingers

I am having these sharp zinger like pains in my cervix, what does it mean I am dilating or thinning any one have this, I am week 36

Is it kicks or movement of baby against your cervix? That always gave me zingers, but from early on, not just toward the end.

I had this the entire second half of my pregnancy with my daughter. It would stop me in my tracks. I don't know if it means you are dilating but I did start to dilate early. I was walking around for 2-3 weeks at 4 cm dilated before going into labor.

Hate those pains! they come on so sudden and are quite intense! i've been getting them since hitting third trimester and my doctor says it's the baby "headbutting" the cervix. Do you get alot of pressure on your bladder too?
