Q: Is this normal?

5 weeks along and bleeding. Had a scan 4 days ago and they saw a gestational sac. Had some brown bleeding and was told it was normal. Well I only saw it while using a liner. Went to the rest room today and there was blood and a lond thin blood clot. I have had 2 miscarriages in the last year and I am so worried. My provider sent me to an urgent care of all places and they were no help.

you can take to the internet and learn about some of this stuff, yourself. Unless and until the bleeding is brown in color, you need not worry. But if it is red, it can be indicative of something more than just the usual bleeding, perhaps you can be bleeding right in that moment. So, now you know when to stress about bleeding. It is very often during the early weeks of pregnancy, we usually break our capillaries and arteries. But they are recovered very soon through our body's blood clotting mechanism. You will have to worry if you have a blood clotting defect or blood thinning condition. In any of the cases otherwise, bleeding is just a usual pregnancy tantrum.

Hello, ladies.
Congratulations dear hope you have a happy and safe pregnancy. Bleeding during the pregnancy duration is not always indicative of pregnancy. It can be several things, and, not always bad signs. Some sorts of bleeding are even normal in pregnancy. Because of the baby grows in size and moves simultaneously. It can hence break a few arteries in the abdominal section of the mother. It was obviously nerve cracking, but before freaking out count to ten and breathe. Then make a call to your husband followed by your doctor. Nothing is as bad as it seems. just like sore breasts, heavy urination, excessive thirst and hunger, un explainable mood swings, feeling nauseous is a part of the wholesome package of pregnancy, so it the occasional bleeding, and, in some more often. As we all know every woman feels the situation rather differently than others, so it is always a new experience for the doctors as well. The doctors have to work on status calculated by taking average woman rati

As long as it's brown blood then you're okay. I know it's super nerve wracking (I had a few miscarriages myself and they always seemed to start out this way), but that could be from anything. I once spotted because I had a really hard bm (sorry)! Early pregnancy you can break the little capillaries so easily and that'll cause the spotting; or you could have a small bleed somewhere (I just learned my cervix is bleeding, but nobody knows why and it's still closed so we're guessing I'm still good). I know it's easier said than done, but try to focus on any other symptoms of pregnancy you have and not on the bleeding. If you're nauseous, you're pregnant (same for sore boobs, mood swings, you name it). Good luck!
