About Me

The name is Chanel, I am a student at Mississippi State University (GO BULLDOGS) and I am a Political Sciences major w/ an Economics minor. I am easy going and get along with mostly everyone!

On July 13, 2010 I was happily married! Chris and I have been together since September of 2007.

Mid-October 2008, we found out we were going to be parents!! We were nervous, scared, and shocked (yea..I know right!) lol But we were also happy and excited. However, the very first prenatal care visit w/ the ob/gyn didn't go as we hoped! He could not find a heart beat. He determined I had a very early miscarriage and was scheduled for a follow up a few weeks later. By the time my appointment rolled around I hadn't bled baby out, had suffered no pain...nothing. They scheduled an emergency D&C.
It was when I woke up in my room from recovery, that I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy. It was devastating to hear and it hurt DH and I really bad. Though our baby wasn't planned we still wanted it. We know we went through that for a reason now. And because of it we have grown so much in our faith and as a couple!! We know when the time comes, we will be blessed and the next one will come home w/ us!

April 2 Positive opk ...BD'ing like crazy!
April 11 1st big fat positive! Not faint at all! Sooo happy!
April 12 Yet another bfp, this time with FRER. Test line way darker than control line!! Twins, possibly?
April 20 First visit with ob/gyn. He took my beta hcg. Levels were 10, 582!!
April 22 Had an u/s that revealed one sac...so probably not twins but still too early to see baby! I am 6w1d according to my LMP but 4w6d according to April 2 conception.
May 6 2nd Appointment was amazing. So in love with our miracle baby.
July 1 Our little BOY amazed mommy and daddy today! We love him more than words already.
July 8 Next appointment. 17w1d Went really well. Heartbeat was nice and strong.
Aug 4 Anatomy scan!
