About Me

I am 23 years old, married to a wonderful husband (I'm sure we all say that, I hope, about our own husbands lol). We have suffered through both a chemical pregnancy January 2014 and a missed miscarriage in March 2014. This is currently our third pregnancy and hoping our little one sticks this time around. This will be our first child. I am Canadian, proudly so too. I believe everyone should be treated kindly and with respect, as we are all living creatures with feelings, and we don't always know where everyone is coming from. I always strive to be kind to others because of this belief. I'm also a major animal lover with fur and feathered babies myself :)

So good to hear! I knew we were due around the same time, and I hadn't seen any updates, so I was just checking in :) Congratulations!

When I was pregnant with the one I lost I secretly hoped it was a girl but this time I just wanted a baby.
Hubby's fathers side of the family for 4 generations are all boys, 7 great uncles, 6 uncles, 15 cousins those of who have children have boys too so we never actually expected a girl. Still think I'll give birth to a boy lol.
You'd think so and I hope so but so many women go weeks with nothing but false labour. It's 4am here now and I've been up since 2am with crushing braxtons. So annoying.

I had the same with my prenatals, ended up with a folic spray and eventually even that went because it just made me sicker.
Monday will be here in no time and you'll be as giddy as a school girl lol

16 days till due date, 2nd of Jan and sadly could also have another 2 weeks on that as the NHS hate to induce you before 42 weeks :( .
I've been having rough days and good days but it really really drags because you're just sat waiting for a sign, any sign.
I think I'm about a week away from the 'get this baby out of me' stage hehehe.

I'm alright waiting for her, although I would prefer not to go too far overdue.

You're right, I think most of pregnancy you hear is a lie. I've never experience the 'glow' just being tubby, gas filled and uncomfortable mess.
I think the only good thing about the second tri is it just flies by. I don't even remember it passing. One moment I was 12 weeks and celebrating the next I was charging through the 30s :)

Hey hun. It's all slow progress here but that's okay, luckily we think we've found that the false labour seems to happen on the days I've gone out for the day. Too much activity perhaps.
Can't complain though because at least I'm getting sleep although no baby for Christmas lol
How about yourself? Is second tri treating you okay? X
