About Me

My name is Tiffany. I have PCOS and thought getting pregnant was going to be hard and at some points not even possible. I wasn't diagnosed until we were trying for #2 in 2012. Took a year and a half to conceive him with loads of meds and hormones which was completely worth it. He was born June 13, 2014. We started trying again when he was about 2 months old thinking it would take a while. In January 2015 I had a chemical pregnancy, we didn't tell anyone about it. 6 months after that and I got my BFP. The greatest feeling ever. I've always wanted a big family with many children. I grew up with just my brother who we don't even talk as adults and my parents split up when I was 8. My mom worked many jobs to support us but left us lonely a lot. I hope to have a big close family to share life with and be there for each other. As of right now I have 2 birth children (both boys) and 2 step children so this will be #5 and we couldn't be happier. It's another boy. He has a choroid plexus cyst on the right side of his brain. I know it can be common but that doesn't stop the worrying.

My Birth Plan

I have an amazing doctor that I love... I've gotten an epidural with my last 2 so it would be hard to see myself not getting one this time. I've been thinking about taking birth classes to see if I think I could do it without meds. I didn't take any classes with my other pregnancies.

Aww thank you, I'm just anxious to get past 24 weeks. Even though this is my third pregnancy every little twinge scares me. I'm pretty sure I had a chemical pregnancy in jan. had 2 pos. then they went neg. had a super heavy period but never went in for it, so really don't know but it's ok, everything seems to be going good with this one. Had spotting at 5 & 6 weeks and had my dating scan at 8 weeks 2 days and got to listen to the heartbeat.

It sucks living with PCOS. My first son I had to have fertility help. My second son was a surprise since I was told I would always need help. This pregnancy was also natural. Before this pregnancy I suffered a miscarriage. Having PCOS can make everything complicated and scary. I hope you have a great pregnancy!
