Things are much better now. The second week was the worst. I hit an all time low - frustration with nursing and Peirce wasn't gaining weight but we realized the problem was mastitis so I'm healing up from that and my milk supply is getting better so we're headed in the right direction.
His tummy's getting fuller now that my milk's getting back up so it's nice to have quiet awake time with him - before it was just sleeping crying or nursing and that was all!
It's amazing how different life is now but it's true I guess you reach a new "normal" and I'm sure time will just fly.
