How Big is the Baby: About a pound and a half, size of an eggplant.
New/Changed Symptoms: "Butterfingers" continues. My sense of smell is sooo strong. Finally starting to have increased urination - which I didn't have for most of my pregnancy, even early on.
Emotions: Pretty good, a little anxious. No breakdowns this week! :)
Something Funny That Happened: Keiran loudly whispers during church "You should probably go get some water, I bet the baby's thirsty".
Best moment of the Week: Well, I'm hoping it will be in about two hours, when I pass my glucose tolerance test!!
Movement: Getting much stronger, I've noticed a real difference this week. Still quite low.
Maternity Clothes: Haven't bought anything new in a long time. Starting to really need new bras and underwear, and longer tops. Maybe next payday.... Since i'm carrying so low, I can't get ANYTHING prepregnancy on, I can't even do things up under my belly, since my belly sits right above my pubic area.
Weight: 17.5 pounds total.....large spurt seems to have levelled off and I'm feeling more in control. I have been drinking LOTS of water which I believe is helping - I think I packed on water retention due to holidays and heat.
Food cravings: I still really like cereal and milk and candy. I'm also craving pasta and fruit, I eat at least four different kinds of fruit per day.
Food aversions: Still none, pretty much nothing I won't eat!
What I Miss: Hugging my husband without having the belly in the way.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Third trimester, coming up soon...prenatal classes, coming up soon as well (23rd, 30th and Sep 6)
Milestone: Staying fairly active and not using pregnancy as an excuse to be lazy or not keep up my appearance.
Question(s): I wonder if my bellybutton will pop out? I have a strange bellybutton. Also starting the great debate : Cloth diaper service or disposable.
