The waiting game...ugh!

Each month it almost felt like a hurry up and wait game to get pregnant. My period would come, then wait until I ovulated. Then hurry to BD get to the sperm in the right place at the right time then wait for AF to show or get the BFP you are looking for on the stick. Now that we have gotten the BFP, it is another hurry up and wait game. Since the miscarriage last month this waiting game is agonizing. Next week on Monday July 2nd, I have my first ultrasound then another wait game until the following week for my first OB appointment. Hurry up and wait....I just want to know if my little peanut will be a healthly baby and make it through the first trimester so that I may share my joy with everyone and then of course have our little peanut in our lives in February a happy, health, and love little baby.
Hurry up and wait...I just want to enjoy these months I wish hurry up and wait would go away!

I go back on the 6th and we are just waiting to hear that everything is ok at that appointment to tell everyone. I'll be 12w, 3d that day and after that it will feel like we got an "all clear" that everything is fine. Husband's cousin and his wife lost twins in December and my husband is terrified of everything.... Lots of love and good thoughts to you. |
