On October 14, 2012 at 20 weeks 1 day pregnant
Picked a Name
Today we had a gender reveal party for you at the church. Everyone was there! Today we found out that you will be a little girl. So your Daddy and I wanted to name you right away. After a long day, we sat down with the intentions of taking a nap but started looking for your name. We always new your middle name would be Rose for your Daddy's Grandmother (your great grandmother), and my Great Grandmother (your great great grandmother). As we were looking, Daddy saw your name in a list and it happen to be on a list I started several months ago.

After sorting through all the names, we gave the ones we liked most a rating and yours rated number 1 out of all of them!

We love you Tegan Rose!

Tegan is Welsh for beauiful. You have Welsh is on both sides of my family. Always know your family history!

On October 4, 2012 at 18 weeks 5 days pregnant
Finished the Nursery
Your Daddy had surgery a week ago and was unable to help as much as he would like but Grammy and I were able to get the walls and ceiling painted, the carpet scrubbed, new vents put into place, door handle, put the crib together, dress the crib and room, clean and place the glider and dresser in to your room. The only think that is not done is the curtains, glider cushions, and diaper changing/desk area curtain. Grammy is working on those as we speak.

It is such a beautiful room! I can't wait for you to see it!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I was laying on my right side relaxing and getting ready to sleep. All of a sudden, on the side of my belly, I felt you kicking and it was hard. It was like a thump. I was so excited to feel you. It was very reassuring to know you were moving around and all was good.

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
On August 9, 2012 at 10 weeks 5 days pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
I was so worried about getting it recorded for DH but it was the coolest sound that I have EVER heard. 170bpm. Doc said it was nice and stronge better than most.

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Chris is an awesome boss and he was so excited for me.

First Prenatal Appointment
Saw Dr Petecca.

On July 10, 2012 at 6 weeks 3 days pregnant
Second Ultasound
The OB wanted me to come back after my first ultrasound for a second one so they could measure peanut again and get a heart rate. The second measurement would allow an average to be taken to determine gestation. I am 7 weeks today.

It was nice to see peanut again. Peanut is looking good and growing big and strong. I was so relieved to know all is ok. I broke down on Tommy outside the office and of course he gave me his strength and comfort.

On July 2, 2012 at 5 weeks 6 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
Today was the first ultrasound to see how far along I am. Our peanut is in there and measuring at 5 weeks 6 days. You could see the heart beat but could not hear it. We will have another one next week July 10th.

Second Blood Test
I went to Forbes today to have my second blood test to check the HCG levels. The hCG numbers came in at 265.

On June 19, 2012 at 4 weeks 4 days pregnant
First Blood Test
I went to Forbes today to have my first blood test to check the HCG levels. I will return in 48 hours to get the second count.

On June 18, 2012 at 4 weeks 1 day pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I was late and Tom and were on vaction at Ravenwood castle in Ohio. I made. Sure that I brought a package of pregnancy tests. So Saturday morning I took the test just to make sure. Well what I saw was so faint line I didn't believe it. So the next day I took a test and there was the line!
