Maternity pants already??

I hit 8 weeks today. For the past week I've noticed a small bump. Yesterday I wore a dress to work and was pretty comfy. Today I go to break out pants to wear to work and while they buttoned, they were abnormally tight. I just finished doing weight watchers before I got pregnant (I'm 10lbs less starting this go around) and they had been fitting with some extra space, which was nice. But this morning, I knew I wouldn't be comfy with how tight they were. So, down to the basement to get my wrinkly maternity pants that have been sitting dormant for a year. I had a warm weather pregnancy last time and don't have any winter clothes. So this morning I ordered a pair of cords and 2 sweaters (buy one get one half off) and a dress (50% off) online. I am in disbelief that at 8 weeks I'm starting a belly!! Last time it held off until 12 weeks! I need to keep my belly hidden for just a little while longer so that my boss can figure out exactly what my work status is going to be in January... I'm terrified that when he finds out he's gonna do something drastic.
Can't wait for my next appt at 10W5D!

Not enough to get me into maternity clothes, but enough for me to start wearing loose-fitting clothing at work for sure! |
